The clan system in VV Ultimatum lets you affiliate with one of several character factions or houses, each offering distinct bonuses, resources, and path-specific advantages. This is one of the first meaningful choices you'll make as an account.
Why It Matters
Choosing a clan too early -- before you know which route you want to follow -- can waste weeks of grinding. The right clan amplifies your chosen path, while the wrong one creates friction regardless of how much you invest. Timing your decision is more important than picking the "best" clan on paper.
How to Use It
Establish your preferred route first -- Shinigami, Hollow, or whichever path you're leaning toward. Once you've completed some early content and understand how your character plays, then look at which clan complements your route's strengths. Check the builds page for examples of clan-route pairings that work well in practice.
What to Watch For
Rarity or visual appeal should not drive your clan choice. A flashy clan that doesn't match your route will feel weaker than an unassuming one that does. If the game allows switching later, early mistakes are recoverable -- but confirm the switch mechanics before committing.
